Back at the cafe and ready to work! I have had a Layer cake of fabric that I have been wanting to use for quite awhile now. I purchased the layer cake while visiting Missouri Star Quilt Company . What a great place to shop and if you haven’t been there, you really should put it on your ‘list’. Anyway, the fabric is a Moda Laundry Basket Quilts and it is beautiful. It has the most gorgeous shades of blue I have ever seen and has been fun working with on the Teacup Quilt Pattern .
Here are a few pictures:
Now just to add the inner and outer borders. The inner border will be a tea stained fabric and considering the name of the pattern, I thought that was most appropriate! The outer border will be the darkest of the blue fabric and I can’t wait to see what it looks like. Then on to the quilting! Straight lines or curves, my machine or on a long arm. So many decisions. We’ll have to wait and see!
Thanks for stopping and Cheers!
